Reverse Osmosis Water Purification

A reverse osmosis system removes sediment, chlorine, and other hazardous materials from water with pre-filters before it forces water through a semipermeable membrane to remove dissolved solids. After water exits the RO membrane, it passes through a post-filter to polish the drinking water to make it taste great before it enters your faucet. It mounts conveniently under your kitchen sink. Water Softeners

Calcium and magnesium are the most common minerals in water which make your water hard. These dissolved solids can cause a scaly buildup on everything from dishes, to pipes, to the heating elements of appliances, to your hair and skin. Soap scum and clogged, corroded plumbing are usually a result of hard water. Water softeners remove those hard minerals making it easier to clean your home and laundry, have softer skin and shinier hair, while preserving the life of appliances that use water. Ultima’s green systems use 50% less salt, less water, and are a better value than most other systems.

Water Filtration Systems

If you have a well or extremely hard water, we can add “Big Blue”, a housing with a pre-filter that takes the large sediments out of the water before it enters the water softener. You can put a sediment filter, a carbon filter, or a specialty filter with ion-exchange resin or arsenic-reducing media in a Big Blue filter housing. The housing itself doesn’t remove anything. It just directs water flow around whatever filter cartridge you put inside. The cartridge does the filtering or separating the water from the contaminants. What type of cartridge you put inside determines what will be removed. Our professionals can make recommendations based on your particular needs.
